Don't Get Stuck In A Box!

There's no better feeling as a handler than when the pieces start to fall into place while training your dog. In the beginning it's exciting, you're learning, they’re learning, your goals are being reached, you are finally able to have that relationship with your dog that you've always wanted. The problem comes when that plateau hits, we become complacent, we let things slide, subconsciously give our dogs the benefit of the doubt because they are "trained" and truthfully this is when the real training begins.

Training never stops, think of your dog as a muscle, if you stop working out, you will lose your progress. This is your reminder to change it up! Create challenges for yourself and your dog to accomplish together.

Challenge your relationship and trust, work on some new obedience routines in a new location, learn a new trick you can show off to family and friends.

Sky's the limit when it comes to training and enriching our dogs' lives.

We need to remember first and foremost the training isn't just for us, it's for our dogs, it's their outlet for mental and physical exercise, it makes their day to day life enjoyable and gives them something to look forward to doing with us! We are our dogs best friends for their whole life, and it's a friendship we will think about and cherish for the rest of our lives.
